Workshop – working with challenging behaviour

A one day workshop offered by FEI for cluster group members at Wyre Forest on Tuesday 30th November. To book places, email me by Friday 19th November for a booking form and outline of the day.  Start time 10 – 3pm.  Cost will be £25 including lunch.

We will look at the causes and neurology associated with challenging behaviour and discuss ways of managing it in an outdoor and woodland setting, including some time spent investigating effective ways of working outside with young people with special needs (including autism, aspergers, ADHD and dyslexia). We will examine some case studies, talk about de-escalation and have opportunities for discussion relevant to your own settings.

Best regards

Susannah
