Using the pupil premium to support outdoor learning

Do the schools you work with struggle to involve as many pupils as they would like in outdoor learning ? Are family finances are key restricting factor ? Recent correspondence between the English Outdoor Council and the Department for Education has confirmed that the Department expects schools to consider use of the Pupil Premium to ensure equal access to outdoor activities. This year according to Government figures £619 a head is being given to schools for each pupil who is entitled to free school meals a total of £1.25 bn. This is set to increase to £2.5bn over the next 2 years.
