Wild Wood Activities Forest School training: Level 2 Forest School Assistant Award (NCFE accredited) The Level 2 Forest School Assistant Award is an excellent way to get you started in Forest Schools. You will learn practical skills as well as theory and, by the end of the training, feel more than confident to assist at a Forest School and to run your own outdoor learning and play sessions. Wild Wood Activities offers a high level of support throughout your training journey to help you to achieve your certificate. With highly experienced trainers and assessors, we strive to offer quality and innovative training. Forest School Level 3 Award (NCFE accredited) An amazing opportunity for you to gain a nationally recognised qualification which will enable you to offer safe, challenging, innovative and practical outdoor and woodland-based Forest School projects to groups of all ages and abilities. To fit in with your needs, Wild Wood Activities has split the five day Forest school training into more manageable 3 day and 2 days blocks with the 2 day block incorporating a woodland camp out! Whether you choose to sleep in your tent, a shelter you have built or in a tarp and hammock system, you can experience the woods at night and be woken up by the birds in the morning and a very smokey cup of tea! Supported by your trainer and assessor, you will be taught the practical skills and theory to enable you to confidently engage with groups in the woodland and outdoor environment. Free Forest School Information session/ taster (6th March 4-5.30pm) Come along to the newly developed woodland area at Lons Infants School, Ripley, Derbyshire to find out about Forest School and Forest School training. Lauren Stevens from Wild Wood Activities will be there to share her Forest School project and Forest School training experience. We will also be joined by Karen Barber and Nicola Mannion who will share their experiences of running Forest School projects at Lons Infants School. You will be able to get crafty during the session and make something to take away with you!
