Outdoor Learning in The National Forest – Sessions for Ks1 and Ks2 Teachers

Curriculum-linked twilight sessions, 3.45/4pm-6pm for teachers of KS1 & KS2
4 sessions which can be done together or individually to develop outdoor teaching
skills using low cost and easy to source materials. Includes tea, coffee, biscuits, fruit.
Developed and delivered by Environmental Education Project and the University of
Derby.

Wed 13th March: Art and Design outdoors

Tues 30th April: Making Music outdoors
(£15 -subsidised by the National Forest Company and the Ernest Cooke
Trust)
Wed 1st May: Shape, Space and Pattern outdoors
(£15 -subsidised by the National Forest Company and the Ernest Cooke
Trust)
Wed 8th May: Developing Vocabulary and Creative Writing using the
outdoors
(£15 -subsidised by the National Forest Company and the Ernest Cooke
Trust)
