Sheffield Woodland Kindergarten – Experience an outdoor kindergarten

Dates: Tuesday 1st July

Time: 10 am – 2 pm

Cost: £40 per person, all proceeds go towards getting water and electricity on site

What should I bring?

Waterproofs and sun cream! We will be outside whatever the weather so please come prepared with appropriate clothing. Packed lunch and camera.

Where is it?

Lynwood Gardens Nature Reserve is in Sheffield, S10 2FZ. It is a hidden gem in between Broomhill and Broomhall, just behind the Francis Newton pub. We have no onsite parking, the pub car park is pay and display, there is limited on street parking on Dorset Street, Gloucester Street and Brocco Bank. We are on many bus routes and close to the University tram stop.

 The day…

10-10.30 am Arrivals, signing in, make a cuppa and explore the site

10.30 – 11. 30 am What’s it all about? A talk about who we are, what we do and the benefits of our approach

  1. 30 – 12.30 Music and movement in the great outdoors

12.30 – 1.30 Lunch break, fire cooked treats, crafts

1.30 – 2 pm Reflection time! Something we do with our children every day, lets reflect on our learning for the day, our triumphs, challenges and negatives, sharing our thoughts and feelings with the group and certificate presentation!
