Creating a Forest for Learning – Funding and support available to schools in the National Forest

Opportunities for Primary Schools based in the National Forest through the  CF4L Project 

Schools can access:

  • A bursary grant up to £500 for schools to use towards Forest School/other outdoor learning training
  • Guidance and support in developing plans for designing and planting outdoor spaces for learning
  • A woodland management grant is available for developing school grounds or a  local woodland up to £1000. Support is available to develop your application.
  • Assistance building relations with local landowners in arranging use of nearby woodlands for learning.
  • Assistance between to access training and online resources
  • Resources and ideas developed as part of this project will be available to all.
